Job Description

Job Title: Organisational Change Manager

Position Overview: The Organisational Change Manager will play a pivotal role in driving and managing strategic organizational change within our large politically charged organization. Reporting to the Manager of Organisational Change Services within Governance Cyber and Policy this role will also collaborate closely with program/project managers to ensure successful implementation of change initiatives. The incumbent may lead a change team as per project needs and stages utilising a standard Organisational Change Management framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development implementation monitoring and review of organisational change initiatives to align with organisational and program/project objectives.
  • Plan lead and track engagement with program/project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with program/project managers and relevant business executives to ensure desired business outcomes are achieved.
  • Develop and review organisational change plans including benefits communications business readiness training and business transition.
  • Consult/engage with senior and executive stakeholders to define necessary business changes for realising benefits.
  • Undertake project management tasks for organizational change including scheduling risk and issue management dependency management and status reporting as required.
  • Conduct assurance evaluation review and lessons learned activities to ensure the effectiveness of change initiatives.
  • Participate in project and working groups boards forums and working parties to represent stakeholder interests and organizational change strategies effectively.
  • Contribute to Governance Cyber and Policy priorities such as improvement of organisational change services knowledge transfer activities and provision of OCM advisory and support processes to smaller projects.

Key Selection Criteria Knowledge Skills and Attributes:

  1. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in planning and managing strategically aligned organizational change in a large politically charged organization.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in leading and managing complex ICTenabled organizational change utilizing recognized methodologies.
  3. Ability to work and lead a team within a collaborative environment by providing clear direction and establishing professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Highlevel written and oral communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated by superior ability in consultation networking negotiation partnering advocacy and influencing.
  5. Availability to commence work at the requested start date.

Required Skill Set / SFIA Alignments:

  • Change Implementation Planning and Management (CIPM): Level 6
  • Stakeholder Management (RLMT): Level 5
  • People Management (RESC): Level 5
