Job Description
Our client a leading company in the mining sector is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with a strong background in mining operations eager to contribute to innovative projects in a fastpaced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design install and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems in mining operations.
- Ensure compliance with mining regulations and industry standards for electrical and control systems.
- Conduct faultfinding troubleshooting and root cause analysis on electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Develop and review engineering drawings schematics and technical documentation.
- Oversee commissioning calibration and testing of instrumentation and control systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize plant performance and reliability.
- Implement and maintain automation and SCADA systems for process control.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or Diploma in Electrical Electronic or Instrumentation Engineering.
- 3years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering within the mining industry.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs SCADA and process control systems.
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as EPLAN AutoCAD or similar.
- Experience with field instrumentation sensors and actuators in a mining environment.
- Familiarity with mining safety regulations and standards.
