Our client a leading hygiene and sanitation solutions is seeking aNew Business Development & Technical Consultant to join theirBrushware business in Gauteng.The primary responsibility of this role is to drive new business development calling on large corporate clients as well has having a hand in Maketing.
The ideal candidate will have exposure to manufacturing agricultural food processing sectors as well as an understanding of food safety regulations.
Duties:
- Identify new markets and customer needs to ensure value added service.
- Promote the companys products.
- Manage sales targets effectively.
- Achieving daily and weekly call ratios to ensure targets are met.
- Ensure business development
- Manage purchase analysis customer segmentation product and service analysis.
- Improve and maintain standard of service.
- Build market position by defining and closing business relationships with new customers.
- Provide assistance with implementing suggested plans and strategies.
- Create and present sales strategies.
- Follow up regular meetings with both active and prospective clients.
- Develop your own customer database.
- Negotiating sales and clinching business deals.
- Initiate Invoicing & Payment.
- Conduct handing over of new contracts to operations.
- Weekly and monthly reports need to be sent to Line Manager.
Requirements
- Previous Experience in Sales
- Hunter personality
- General business exposure
- Ability to analyse sales data and stats
- Hygiene and cleaning chemical experience preferable will also consider candidates that have experience in selling pumps/pressure hoses.
- Computer literacy
- Excellent Client Relationship building
- Marketing qualification advantageous
