Required Copywriter skills and experience:
As a Copywriter youll play a key role in shaping brand messaging telling compelling stories and creating content that connects with audiences. Whether its website copy social media posts or email campaigns your words will inspire action and elevate brand identity.
What Youll Be Doing
Content Creation & Strategy Write website copy blog posts email campaigns paid ads video scripts pitch decks and social media content that captivates and converts.
Brand Voice & Tone Maintain a consistent tone of voice across all written materials ensuring brand cohesion.
SEO & Content Optimisation Incorporate keyword research and SEO best practices to enhance content discoverability.
Research & Trend Analysis Stay ahead of industry trends audience insights and content best practices.
Collaboration & Work closely with marketing managers designers and strategists to bring campaigns to life.
Editing & Proofreading Ensure all content is polished accurate and free from grammatical errors while adhering to brand guidelines.
ClientFocused Writing Follow client briefs conduct industry research and craft content that resonates with target audiences.
What Were Looking For
Writing & Content Expertise Diploma/Degree in a related field with 2 years of experience in copywriting content marketing or a related role.
Creative & Strategic Thinker Ability to adapt to different brand voices and create content that engages and converts.
SEO & Digital Copywriting Skills Strong understanding of keyword placement SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies.
Editing & Proofreading Mastery Exceptional attention to detail grammar and formatting.
Strong Research & Analytical Abilities Ability to craft wellresearched content that is relevant accurate and insightful.
Adaptability & TechSavviness Willingness to learn new tools and platforms.
Collaboration & Communication A team player with outstanding communication skills.
Portfolio Required A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of writing styles from longform blogs to shortform ad copy.
South African Citizen or Permanent Resident This role is locationspecific and you need to be legally allowed to work in South Africa.
