Winona State University is seeking a pool of qualified applicants for parttime coaching positions. Candidates are reviewed and positions are filled on an as needed basis.

Assistant Coach
- Assist in operating all aspects of the intercollegiate program within the guidelines policies rules and regulations of the University NCAA and NSIC.
- Assist in the identification evaluation recruitment and retention of quality studentathletes.
- Assist with fundraising activities.
- Contribute to student growth and development.
- Support Winona State Universitys mission to enhance the intellectual social cultural and economic vitality of the people and communities we serve.
- Other duties as assigned in the Athletic Department as needed.
Head Coach
- Lead all aspects of the intercollegiate program within the guidelines policies rules and regulations of the University NCAA and NSIC.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree at time of appointment.
- Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated success as a coach/teacher.
- Completion of a criminal background check when required in accordance with WSU Policy 517.
Preferred Qualification
- Masters degree or desire to obtain.
- NCAA Collegiate coaching experience.
- Knowledge of Midwest recruiting base.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules & regulations.

- The applicant should demonstrate a knowledge of and interest in diverse cultures and populations.

- In accordance with Minnesota State HR guideline FSR0008 WSU will conduct a criminal background check on finalists for all positions that work with minors in campus sponsored camps or special programs. These checks will be jobrelated and conducted pursuant to all applicable laws rules policies and procedures. Any offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of the background check. Finalists may be rejected if they refuse consent for a criminal background check or fail to provide accurate information for a background check.

- Employment for this position is covered by the collective bargaining agreement for the Inter Faculty Organization (IFO) which can be found at accordance with Minnesota State policy employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to Minnesota States vehicle use criteria and consent to a motor vehicle records check.
