NOCCCD is now accepting applications for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Instructor (Clinical Coordinator) PoolPartTime positions at Cypress College!
Essential Functions
Examples of essential functions are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature.
Desirable Qualifications
Recent experience in sonography imaging. Teaching experience. Experience using computers in instruction. Ability to work effectively in a teamteaching environment. Effective oral and written communication skills. Commitment to examine reflect and modify instructional relational and classroom practices in order to effectively engage and support disproportionately impacted student populations with the goal of closing equity gaps.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree or higher and two years of professional experience directly related to the assignment; OR Associate degree or higher and six years of professional experience directly related to the assignment; OR Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area. AND THE FOLLOWING : 1 possess an academic degree no lower than an Associate degree and at least equal to that for which the graduates are being prepared; 2 possess the appropriate credential(s) specific to the concentration(s) that s/he coordinates Registered in good standing in sonography by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers ARDMS in Abdomen and/or OB & Gyn. 4 have a minimum of two years of clinical experience as a registered sonographer in the professional sonography field.
