Role name and description

Manager Detail oriented and experienced in managing month end close preparing account reconciliation flux analysis and researching complex accounting issues. The role requires demonstrated ability to lead and develop highperforming team.

The opportunity

Manager ACR will play a critical role in performing the monthly accounting operations and will help ensure accurate financial reporting compliance with accounting standards and timely preparation of reports for the client. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills is detailoriented and possesses ability to effectively manage the controllership function for a country.

Your key responsibilities

• Efficiently manage the monthly close process including ensuring all transactions are properly recorded reviewing/approving journal entries and account reconciliations and participate in financial close meetings with crossfunctional teams
• Meticulous adherence to the compliance calendar of client to ensure smooth closure of books of accounts
• Prepare and present account reconciliation and flux analysis to senior leadership empowering strategic decision making
• Conduct indepth technical accounting research with a primary focus on complex topics such as revenue recognition and lease accounting
• Ensure SOX compliance including preparation and review of documentation
• Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for business partners and corporate controllers providing guidance and support on financial processes reporting and compliance matters
• Effectively communicating risks and issues as necessary to senior leadership

To qualify for the role you must have

• Chartered Accountant (CA/ACCA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 5 years of postqualification work experience
• Strong technical knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (IFRS and US GAAP exposure is a plus)
• Basic understanding of direct and indirect taxes
• Candidates with proven capabilities of setting up Multi country Finance Operations process management month end close account reconciliation and financial reporting processes

Ideally youll also have

• Excellent communication with strong problemsolving skills capable of challenging the status quo to drive continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively take complete ownership of tasks and work collaboratively across teams
• Experience in managing and leading a team
• Proven track of working with leaders from across geographies and managing the deliverables under a fast changing environment with accurate quality in a metrics environment.
