Risk Management - Project Manager

The risks in todays disruptive environment are increasingly multifaced and evolve faster than ever before.Were also continuously evolving the ways we proactively manage risk to address the risk environment of tomorrow.EY Canadas Risk Management function is responsible for the management of a variety of risks associated with ethics data protection records management client and engagement acceptance conflicts and independence.

Our highly engaged team is looking to hire a project manager.As an integral part of the team this individual will be directly involved with managing projects related to our Risk Management function to maintain the Firms compliance with applicable policies laws and regulations in Canada.This individual will also serve as a role model by promoting and demonstrating commitment to risk management processes and policies within the Firm.

Your key responsibilities

• Manage projects related to privacy and data protection records and information management record of processing activities and other compliance independence and risk initiatives.
• Individual will be required to provide appropriate and effective solutions as they manage projects for the Risk Management function.
• Measure and monitor the progress of projects from start to finish conduct regular monitoring and reporting to Risk Management leaders solicit feedback from stakeholders and recommend improvements as needed to keep the projects on track.
• Provide direct support to the leaders in Risk Management.
• Support and promote compliance with EY policies and processes including responding to queries from EY personnel.
• Work with EY Global functions other EY member firms and local stakeholders to implement global policies processes and tools within Canada.Manage other special projects on an as needed basis.
• Project manage the development and delivery of training to new hires and professional personnel as required by the Risk Management function.

Skills and attributes for success

• Knowledge of project management knowledge of the services provided by a multidisciplinary professional services firm
• Minimum five years experience in a project management capacity preferably in a privacy records management or compliance function in a large organization.
• Knowledge of the French language an asset but not required.
• Knowledge of records and information management and privacy principles along with a keen interest in trends in privacy and technology an asset but not required.
• Organizational skills dedication to teamwork timemanagement strong communication skills (both oral and written) ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities attention to detail
• Strong knowledge and understanding of client service
• Familiarity with risk management and compliance and ability to understand policies and guidance
• Ability to work in a busy deadline driven environment focused on accuracy and confidentiality
• Ability to solve problems and use sound judgment
• Flexibility to adapt to a rapidly evolving risk landscape.
