Job Description
Scooter Delivery Driver
Specialising in premium pet foods and accessories Absolute Pets is the leading pet retailer in South Africa with over 100 stores across the country.
Our team of experts is looking for a passionate and driven Scooter Delivery Driver to join the Absolute Pets team to help fulfill our on demand functionality GoFetch for a period of 3 months.
Our GoFetch Driver will work with the Online Department to ensure all GoFetch orders are delivered efficiently and timeously. The GoFetch Driver will make use of a bike provided by Absolute Pets and will work in shifts from Monday to Sunday from 08:00 21:00.
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure timely deliveries to customer as per their orders.
- Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Make use of the GoFetch application to complete all orders.
- Minimize the damages by careful handling of products during loading and offloading.
- Ensure the bike is kept in good condition at all times.
- Any bike damages or breakages must be reported to the online manager as soon as possible.
- Behave and perform duties and responsibilities in a manner that upholds The Company values.
- Assist in any other online duties as per operational needs.
Technical
- Valid bike license
- South African ID or valid work permit
- Proven work experience as a delivery driver
- The ability to work on your own and part of a team
