Job Description
Menaul School a historic college preparatory school in Albuquerque New Mexico is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Domestic Admissions to join our leadership team. This position plays a crucial role in shaping our diverse student body for grades 612 and advancing our mission of academic excellence and character development.

Founded in 1896 Menaul School is an independent coeducational day and boarding school with a rich heritage of academic excellence and cultural diversity. We serve students in grades 612 providing a challenging college preparatory curriculum in a nurturing environment that values critical thinking leadership and global citizenship.
Position Overview
The Director of Domestic Admissions will lead all aspects of the domestic student recruitment and enrollment process for our middle and high school programs. This position requires a strategic thinker who can effectively communicate Menaul Schools unique value proposition to prospective families while building relationships throughout the Albuquerque community and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract qualified domestic students for grades 612
Manage the entire admissions process from inquiry to enrollment
Coordinate campus visits open houses and admissions events
Build relationships with local schools organizations and community partners
Analyze enrollment data and market trends to inform recruitment strategies
Collaborate with marketing resources to create compelling admissions materials
Support families through the financial aid process
Represent Menaul School at recruitment fairs and community events
Partner with faculty and staff to ensure a smooth transition for new students
Maintain accurate admissions records and manage the admissions database
Qualifications
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred
Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to connect with diverse families and students
Proficiency with database systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with data analysis and strategic planning
Ability to travel locally and regionally as needed
Passion for educational excellence and student development
Customer service orientation with a welcoming positive demeanor
Preferred Skills
Background in sales or experience with sales techniques and relationshipbased selling
Background in marketing communications or public relations
Knowledge of the Albuquerque and New Mexico educational landscape
Familiarity with multicultural education and diverse student populations
