Position Summary: The dual language and world language partner in collaboration with themanager of dual language and world language pathways and other members of Language andCultural Services is responsible for delivering within their network highquality instructionalresources enhancing classroom practices and scaling effective programs to increase TulsaPublic Schools students achievement and to prepare all students for success in college careerand life. The dual language and world language partner works with instructional leadershipdirectors school leaders and teachers to provide leadership for dual language and worldlanguage pathways in the district.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree in education English as a second language bilingual education orworld languages required
Masters degree preferred
Experience:
Five 5 years experience in effective K12 classroom teaching
Specialized Knowledge Licenses Etc.:
Current Oklahoma teacher certification required
Knowledge and understanding of curricular frameworks pedagogy lesson planningstandards analysis and quality classroom materials for dual language and worldlanguage pathway programs
Deep knowledge of American Council for Teaching of Foreign Language standardsEnglish language development standards Spanish language development standardslearning and assessment
Knowledge of effective teaching and learning practices to support multilingual learnersand students with disabilities highly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
