Job Description
Detroit Lakes MN is a thriving and vibrant community offering exceptional amenities an outdoor enthusiasts paradise. The Detroit Lakes Public Utilities Electric Department is actively seeking a Certified Journeyman Line Worker to become a vital member of our dedicated team.
Position Overview: This role involves performing advanced skilled tasks in constructing maintaining and operating overhead and underground electrical transmission and distribution systems.
Qualifications:
- Preferred:
- Minnesota State Journeyman Lineman License
- Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of a certified Line Worker Apprentice Program 8000 hours)
- Minimum of four 4 years experience as a Journeyman Lineman with rubber glove experience
- Certifications in First Aid CPR Pole Top and Bucket Rescue
- Class A CDL Drivers License
Salary:
- $94162.00 $45.27/hr. $97136.00 $46.70/hr. depending on qualifications and experience.
