Job Description

Effectively and accurately obtain payer information from facility or patient
Verifying all payer information received
Update and submit all pending encounters to payers as applicable
Works at least 4045 accounts per day
Coordinates with management escalates and resolves any assigned task(s) issues
Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines during facility payer and or patient communication
Keeps up to date with health care practices laws and regulations related to insurance eligibility
Prioritizes work and manages time effectively to meet set requirements made by manager.
Reports any accounts incorrectly added to assigned task(s) for correction to management.
