My client be on a daring mission to redefine the physical retail seas and theyre in search of a seasoned Senior UI/UX Designer to help steer their ship. In a world where brickandmortar shops be sinking beneath the waves of online convenience this crew charts a bold course to breathe new life into the experience of shopping ashore.
Duties & Responsibilities
Captain the creative direction of applications and design systems ensuring consistency and usability across all decks
Translate user needs and business maps into engaging scalable design treasures
Draft conceptual maps wireframes and highfidelity prototypes that align with the products grand vision
Conduct UX reconnaissance and test the waters of competitive designs to refine yer strategy
Mentor and guide yer fellow designers empowering them to elevate their craft and solve design puzzles
Work in tandem with the crew of engineers and product managers to ensure seamless voyages from design to implementation
Maintain a scalable design system that keeps the brand shipshape and aligned with modern accessibility charts
Advocate for usercentered principles and iterate upon yer designs to reflect feedback from the seas
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 7 years charting a course in UI/UX design with 3 years steering teams as a senior designer
A portfolio bursting with creative treasures showcasing yer problemsolving prowess and innovative designs
Expertise in Figma and other design tools with a masters touch in creating scalable design systems
Command over usercentered design principles usability best practices and research methods
Knowledge of frontend frameworks like Angular Ionic and TailwindCSS to ensure yer visions become reality
Leadership skills worthy of the fiercest pirate captain mentoring yer crew to new heights
Stellar communication and presentation abilities to share yer designs with all on deck
Bonus Loot
Experience crafting enterprise or SaaS solutions
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices
A knack for motion design microinteractions or illustration
Proficiency in user testing tools and analytics to inform design decisions
Personal attributes:
A confident individual with a friendly personality drive energy and enthusiasm together with a strong personal commitment to the delivery of high standards in a timely efficient and friendly manner who works in alignment with the company policies and procedures. An individual that possesses great problemsolving skills & an ability to work with little to no supervision.
