Scale AIs Generative AI organization is experiencing unprecedented growth and our Safety and Adversarial team is at the heart of this expansion. As an Operations Associate (OA) you will be a key member of our AI Red Team dedicated to identifying and mitigating the risks associated with advanced language models and generative AI products. This may require you to wear many operational hats from training our front line to analyzing and reviewing data to jailbreaking prerelease products.
The ideal OA possesses a strong entrepreneurial drive thriving in ambiguity and embracing the challenge of diving deep into complex often uncharted territory. You will:
- Build and drive some of our most critical operational processes to drive progress on our most visible and high impact customer accounts
- Utilize your realworld experience interacting with AI / ML products to create an effective feedback loop across stakeholders
- Understand customer requirements to design thoughtful approaches (e.g. taxonomy) and processes (e.g. pipeline infrastructure) to meet customer commitments with quality and efficiency
- Identify areas for improvement and build analytics to make datadriven decisions
- Be working with sensitive content matters in building towards a stronger safer AI future
Ideally youd have:
- Strong applied relevant working experience (e.g. 1 year as a professional red teamer)
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail
- Adaptability and flexibility to changing external and internal priorities
- Ability to come up with creative solutions to complex ambiguous operational problems
- Strong interest in frontier AI / ML technology and products e.g. staying uptodate on the latest research in AI safety and adversarial machine learning handson experience / experiments with AI products
