Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Production Chemist to join our team in Promea. The Production Chemist will be responsible for manufacturing and ensuring the quality of our pharmaceutical products by following established procedures complying with regulatory requirements and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in accordance with established procedures guidelines and regulatory requirements
Prepare equipment and materials required for production
Operate production equipment such as vessels and filtration systems and monitor production processes to ensure that they operate effectively and efficiently
Ensure proper documentation of all processes including batch records logbooks and other documentation required
Conduct inprocess quality control checks to ensure compliance with quality standards
Troubleshoot and resolve process and equipment issues as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Perform routine calibration and maintenance on production equipment
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve production processes and product quality
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Chemistry Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field
Knowledge of GMP regulations and other relevant regulatory requirements
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and thorough documentation
Excellent communication teamwork and problemsolving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced dynamic environment
Physical Demands:
This job may require long periods of standing and operating equipment.
