Job Description
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements including the balance sheet income statement and cash flow statement
- Manage the general ledger and accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare WIP reporting
- Develop and implement budgets and forecasts
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management
- Assist in overseeing the daytoday operations of the accounting department
- Prepare monthly sales tax and payroll tax reports
- Provide financial advice and guidance to management
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required
- 712 years of experience in accounting in a construction industry related company required
- CPA or CMA certification a plus
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel used consistently)
- Proficiency in ComputerEase a plus
