Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services totheFlorida Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a fulltimeCertified Nursing Assistant / Lab Techto join our team at Okeechobee Correctional Institution located in Okeechobee Florida.The CNA works under the close direction of nursing medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. The CNA is responsible for drawing blood checking vital signs finger stick blood sugars and assisting with activities of daily living for patients in a correctional healthcare environment. ShiftMon Tues Thurs & Fri; 6am 2:30pm Wed 4am 12:30pm
Qualifications
- Florida CNA license
- Phlebotomy certification a plus
- Current CPR
- One year experience in acute care long term care emergency or correctional setting preferred
- Corrections experience not required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
