The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing 6th Grade Teacher committed to guiding students through the important transition from elementary to middle school. This pivotal role involves creating a supportive engaging environment that cultivates academic curiosity emotional growth and independent learning skills preparing students for continued success within a college preparatory environment at Menaul School.

Your Responsibilities:
- Foster a nurturing classroom environment emphasizing academic skills organization responsibility and personal growth.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow educators to ensure a cohesive transition strategy and integrated curriculum.
- Communicate proactively with parents providing insights into student development and strategies for success.
- Serve as an advisor and mentor guiding students through academic social and emotional milestones.
- Participate actively in school events contributing positively to the Menaul community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education or related field required; Masters degree preferred.
- Experience teaching upper elementary or middle school students highly desirable but enthusiastic educators are welcome to apply.
- Teaching certification or equivalent professional qualification preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to student development.
- Passion for creating engaging educational experiences and a commitment to student success.
