Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Apply shotcrete to the hanging wall with accuracy and efficiency.Ensure all probes are marked correctly and spaced according to specifications.
Adhere strictly to mine safety standards and regulations.
Maintain a clean and hazardfree working environment.
Measure water content accurately for highquality shotcrete application.
Work closely with the Team Leader and Miner to ensure smooth operations.
Comply with health and safety policies upholding Sections 22 and 23 of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Certificate of Competency as a Nozzle Operator.Competency B Certificate.
Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification.
MQAendorsed certification.
OEM Training.
Strong planning and time management skills.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nozzle Operator in a mining environment.
Must be medically fit for underground work.
