A dynamic and fastgrowing stockbroking firm is looking for a Sales Trader to join its institutional trading desk. With the impending retirement of a senior trader this role requires a selfsufficient experienced professional who can manage institutional client relationships and help run the desk.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and execute trades for institutional clients particularly asset managers like Coronation and Allan Gray.
Build and maintain strong client relationships on the sales side.
Work closely with the team (currently two traders) to run and grow the desk.
Handle highpressure market environments with confidence and precision.
Provide market insights and recommendations to clients.
Ideal Candidate:
35 years of experience in institutional sales trading.
Proven ability to engage directly with institutional clients (asset managers pension funds etc..
JSE experience is essential familiarity with stockbroking and .
Ability to hit the ground running and take ownership of the role.
Strong understanding of trading operations and client servicing.
BEE status is open the right experience and attitude matter most.
No formal qualifications required but experience as a broker in the market is key.
