Job Overview
We are seeking a talented NPD Engineer. As an NPD Engineer you will be responsible for developing and implementing new product designs and enhancements in the Automotive/Manufacturing industry. This is a fulltime position located in Chakan Maharashtra India. The ideal candidate will have experience in NPD and possess a strong background in engineering and manufacturing.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in NPD or related field
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
- Experience with product development methodologies
- Analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Strong project management skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new product designs and enhancements
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define project requirements and objectives
- Coordinate prototype development and testing
- Conduct design reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement
- Analyze product performance data and troubleshoot design issues
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to optimize product quality and cost
- Provide technical support and guidance to production teams
- Manage project timelines and deliverables
- Communicate project status and updates to key stakeholders
