Job Description
We are hiring on behalf of a leading Composites company a highly skilled Product Engineer with expertise in CAE software preferably CATIA V5 and MasterCAM Machining. This role involves product design development and manufacturing support ensuring efficiency and innovation in machining and engineering processes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Utilize CATIA V5 for product design modeling and simulation.
- Program and optimize CNC machining processes using MasterCAM.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams to develop and refine engineering designs.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new and existing products.
- Support manufacturing processes by ensuring product designs are optimized for production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in the product development cycle.
- Maintain and improve engineering standards ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in product design and manufacturing engineering.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 for 3D modeling assemblies and drafting.
- Handson experience with MasterCAM for CNC programming and machining.
- Strong understanding of GD&T machining processes and material properties.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent problemsolving analytical and communication skills.
