Job Description
Position Overview:
As part of our continuous growth and commitment to innovation we are seeking a handson and experienced Microfluidics Engineer to strenghten our dynaminc and enthusiastic Innovation team. You will be responsible for the development of cuttingedge microfluidic solutions for critical steps in cell therapies. You will design develop and implement microfluidic modules from scratch leveraging your expertise in fluid mechanics and microfluidic systems that enable advancements in therapeutic technologies bringing innovative ideas to life.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop innovative microfluidic solutions for key processes in cell therapies such as sensor implementation for realtime process analysis integrated quality control chip and the integration of nextgeneration technologies.
Lead the design prototyping and implementation of microfluidic modules and systems from the ground up including molding lithography machining 3D printing assembling coating and other fabrication processes.
Collaborate with crossfunctional hardware and software teams to effectively integrate microfluidic systems into the Lakhesys Benchtop Cell Factory.
Conduct simulations on test benches and testing under realworld conditions with biological tests ensuring continuous improvements and validation to refine prototyping.
Contribute to the creation of technical documentation including specifications testing protocols and detailed technical reports.
