Job Description

Required Qualifications
You must be a current UNF student who is eligible for and accepts Federal Work Study FWS funding. Students may work on administrative tasks while gallery sitting and may be asked to assist with installation and communications for exhibition during or outside of open gallery hours. Students will need to engage viewers and visitors but do not need to have prior experience in studio art or art history to apply. The student must be able to: Keep all conversations confidentially. Greet visitors in a professional friendly manner. Answer the telephone and able to forward calls take messages. Assist with filing making copies. Able to make errands around campus. Assist with upcoming exhibitions (preparing exhibition post cards for mailing putting out chairs tables etc. Assist with organizing and preparing for exhibitions. Assist with communications and social media updates and organizing Gallery calendar for appointments. Assists other art installations around campus and at MOCA .

Preferred Qualifications
Some previous office experience is preferred but not required. Enrolled as a major/minor in nonart courses but will consider art majors/minors for this position. Students will need to be selfguided and organized and showcase an aptitude for working with others and guests. Experience with digital and online tools such as social media Microsoft Office and Google Suite are a plus.
