Job Description
Responsibilities
Technology Solutions Development:
- Develop and deliver detailed technology solutions through consulting project activities.
Innovation and Technology Evaluation:
- Evaluate and recommend emerging cloud data technologies and tools to drive innovation and competitive advantage with a focus on Azure services such as Azure Data Lake Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Databricks.
CloudBased Data Architecture Design:
- Lead the design and implementation of cloudbased data architectures using Azure and Databricks to support the companys strategic initiatives and exploratory projects.
Collaboration and Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements architect data solutions and drive the development of innovative data platforms and analytics solutions.
Standards and Best Practices Definition:
- Define cloud data architecture standards best practices and guidelines to ensure scalability reliability and security across the organization.
Data Pipelines and ETL Processes:
- Design and implement data pipelines ETL processes and data integration solutions to ingest transform and load structured and unstructured data from multiple sources into Azure data platforms.
Technical Leadership and Mentorship:
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members fostering a culture of collaboration continuous learning and innovation in cloud data technologies.
Community Collaboration and Continuous Learning:
- Collaborate with Azure and Databricks experts within the organization and the broader community to stay abreast of the latest developments and best practices in cloud data architecture and analytics.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 1215 years of experience in cloud data architecture and related technologies.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Azure services including Azure Data Lake Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Databricks.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing cloudbased data architectures.
Data Management:
- Strong understanding of data management data integration and ETL processes.
- Experience with structured and unstructured data sources.
Leadership and Collaboration:
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and provide mentorship.
- Excellent collaboration skills with crossfunctional teams.
Innovative Mindset:
- Strong problemsolving skills and a passion for driving innovation through technology.
Standards and Best Practices:
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for cloud data architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications:
- Relevant Azure certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Azure Data Engineer) are highly desirable.
Advanced Analytics:
- Experience with advanced analytics and big data technologies.
Community Involvement:
- Active participation in relevant tech communities and forums.
