About the role
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of residents Calvary Aged Care invites compassionate individuals to join our dedicated team as Personal Care Workers. This is an opportunity to be part of a caring community committed to providing exceptional care to our residents.
Your main duties will include:
- Support residents to live the life they choose allowing them to exercise choice and independence
- Assist the resident in oneonone activities that support their wellbeing inclusive of hobbies and interests that are aligned to the care plan
- Contributes to the physical emotional and lifestyle needs and wants of the residents through assessment and observation
- Works within an established and agreed framework to deliver a range of personal care tasks including but not limited to daily hygiene for example showeringshaving dressing mouth and eye care and continence management
- Assist residents who require assistance with mobility as per care plan
About you
- Certificate Level III (Individual Support)
- Effective interpersonal communication; both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads
- Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role in aged care health care or hospitality
