Job Description
Currently enrolled UNF Student from any academic department. Willing and available to work evenings and weekends. Wednesday and Thursday Daytime availability is preferred English proficiency. Exceptional customer service skills. Excellent communication skills and familiarity with public speaking. Passion for museums art history and contemporary art. Excited about facilitating dynamic interactions and conversations with the public including UNF communities as well as children youth and adults. Strong desire to work collaboratively with MOCA staff and fellow Ambassadors. Highly reliable dedicated and punctual. Ability to multitask and be comfortable working in high traffic areas. Able to commit to at least one year of docent work. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word Excel Outlook etc) and working knowledge of QuickBooks Access and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
Tour development and program planning skills are preferred. Knowledge of point of sale POS system are preferred. Past retail or cash handling experience is preferred. Experience in using and/or training on computerized accounting system computer software to include the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets and databases.
