Job Description
To manage & control the supply of engineering spare parts and managing working capital to acceptable levels within AECI Mining Explosives
Required outputs: functional
- Accurate management of inventory and effective storekeeping
- Ensure availability of spare parts to Manufacturing plants Engineering front end business units
- Oversee all Spares operations for entire AECI Mining operations to ensure uniform and worldclass standards are in place
- Engineering spares purchase management
- Ensure SAP inventory data reconciles with the physical stock on a daily basis for all sites.
- Responsible for managing working capital to acceptable levels balancing supply and demand requirements
- Comply with governance and established policies systems procedures and practices
- People management supervision leadership and development of Warehouse staff
- Implement & drive continual business improvement and change management
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric
- Diploma or Technical qualification in Supply Chain/Engineering
- At least 5 years experience in an Inventory Management environment of which includes operating at a supervisory level.
- Technical experience will be an advantage
- SAP knowledge and MRP experience
- Excellent understanding of the Safety & Health process
- Intermediate skills in MS Word Excel and Outlook
