Our handson highenergy programs encourage campers (PreK to age 15 to Discover Explore Achieve and Navigate new adventures. What Youll Do
As a Camp Site Director youll lead an engaging inclusive and highenergy summer program that fosters fun creativity and skillbuilding. Your responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily camp operations to ensure a safe structured and exciting environment.
- Leading and mentoring counselors and CounselorsinTraining (CITs).
- Communicating with families providing updates and addressing concerns professionally.
- Problemsolving on the go adjusting schedules resolving conflicts and leading activities.
- Creating a positive camp culture that promotes kindness inclusion and personal growth.
- Manage supplies and inventory troubleshooting material needs and ensuring all resources are available.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Leadership Experience At least 3 years of cumulative experience working in summer camps education afterschool programs or youth development.
- Strong Communication Skills You lead with clarity empathy and collaboration.
- Adaptability & Quick Thinking You thrive in fastpaced environments and solve challenges with ease.
- High Energy & Enthusiasm You bring a positive attitude and passion for working with kids.
- Organized & Reliable You balance structured programming with creative fun.
Schedule and Requirements
- JuneAugust (exact dates vary by location)
- MondayFriday approx. 7:30 AM 4:30 PM
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must be fully vaccinated and up to date on all immunizations.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs respond quickly to emergencies and work in an active outdoor environment.
- First Aid & CPR certification required (training reimbursement provided).
