Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and wellconnected Seasoned Consulting Executive to drive business expansion and build our presence in the financial services industry particularly within large and midsize U.S. banks and insurance companies. This role requires an experienced consulting professional with a strong network in the financial services sector particularly within risk audit and compliance functions. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of leading a risk practice at a large consultancy selling consulting services to midsize and large financial institutions managing and deepening relationships with existing clients and motivating and building a high performing team. We are seeking someone who is willing to take their large firm experience and bring it to a fastgrowing boutique consultancy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to generate new client relationships and deepen existing relationships within US banks and insurance companies.
  • Identify and pursue highvalue opportunities by leveraging industry contacts and market intelligence.
  • Cultivate relationships with senior executives including Chief Risk Officers Heads of Compliance Chief Auditors Chief Operating Officers and other key decisionmakers.
  • Build and maintain a high performing team to execute on client engagements
  • Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure negotiating contracts and pricing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that align with client needs and industry trends.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences networking events and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and business opportunities.
  • Monitor industry developments and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and refine gotomarket strategy.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 15 years of as a seasoned senior level consultant at a large firm business development sales or strategic partnership experience within the banking insurance or fintech sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in selling consulting and analytics solutions to financial institutions.
  • Deep understanding of risk management regulatory compliance and other regulatory challenges facing banks and insurers.
  • Experience in both 1st line business organizations and 2nd line risk organizations (preferred).
  • Strong network and established relationships with decisionmakers at large and midsize U.S. banks and insurance firms.
  • Entrepreneurial and excited to join a growing small business
  • Selfdirected accountable creative and comfortable working in a fastpaced client facing environment
  • Exceptional communication negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40 to client sites Spinnaker HQ (Richmond VA) and periodic strategic offsites.
