They offer diagnostic and therapeuticsolutions for Interventional Cardiology (IC) Peripheral Intervention (PI) andInterventional Oncology (IO).
Job Summary
As a Sales Manager Cardiology you are a part of the South African salesdivision. Your objective is to assess the management of the InterventionalCardiology (IC) sales team and the development of the IC divisions revenue andprofitability within the country by setting up the right sales strategy andexecution plans.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Product Knowledge:
- Ensure uptodate knowledge ofmarket drivers competition market positioning evolutions within the fieldetc.
- Ensure a complete understanding and consideration of customer requirements.
- Collaborate with marketing to implement the defined product and technicalsupport strategies.
Achieving Sales and Profit Targets:
- Support all sales team activitiesfor your product group.
- Set targets and price levels in collaboration with the Business Unit Managerand monitor the results.
- Assist the Business Unit Manager in analyzing issues related to your productgroup propose and plan corrective actions to achieve objectives and targets.
- Contribute to achieving the gross profit and sales development for theInterventional Systems product group.
- Participate in congresses and follow up on scientific studies.
Expanding Sales Portfolio:
- Implement defined strategies anddevelop tactics to improve sales and profitability of your product group incollaboration with the Sales Manager.
- Organize and lead customer workshops and educational events.
- Assist in introducing new products and keep the Business Unit Manager informedabout market and product developments in your territory.
Training Internal and External Customers:
- Develop and deliver trainingprograms for both internal and external customers addressing their technicaltraining needs.
Team Management:
- A key aspect of this role is coaching andmanaging your sales representative team. Develop their sales and sales planningskills coach them in skill development and help them grow as businessprofessionals.
Requirements
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 yearssales management experience in the medical deviceindustry is required.
- Experience working within the same therapeutic field.
- Be a flexible team player able to work independently prioritize ownwork and maintain confidentiality of information.
- Have a positive attitude and be proactive with excellentorganizational communication and interpersonal skills and the ability towork under pressure and within short time constraints.
- Intensive national travelrequired.
- Ability to work with SalesForce OutlookWord Excel and PowerPoint
