About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sr Manager Cloud Observability to lead our observability initiatives across our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process optimization and technology implementation with a specific focus on AWSbased environments. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive innovation and efficiency in our monitoring and observability processes.

What you will do
- Leadership & Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive observability strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of observability engineers fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration of observability processes.
- Process Optimization:
- Analyze current observability processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement best practices for monitoring logging and tracing ensuring high availability and performance of cloud services.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of observability processes.
- Technology Implementation:
- Oversee the design implementation and maintenance of observability solutions using AWS services.
- Ensure the scalability reliability and security of observability tools and processes.
- Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance observability processes.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with development operations and security teams to ensure comprehensive observability coverage.
- Communicate observability strategies progress and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.
Who you are and what you bring
- Technical Expertise:
- Extensive experience with AWS services (CloudWatch XRay CloudTrail Lambda) and other services like Datadog Dynatrace.
- Proficiency in observability tools such as Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack or Datadog.
- Strong scripting skills (Python Bash).
- Process Management:
- Proven track record in building the team groundup optimizing observability processes and implementing best practices.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in cloud observability management or a related role.
- AWS certification (e.g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) is a plus.
