Job Description

Overview

We are seeking an Account Executiveto join our growing team!

Position Overview

Responsible for developing new business in an assigned territory by developing strong relationships and executing a bestinclass sales methodology. This role is expected to drive revenue in an assigned market/territory by building pipeline and winning net new business accounts.

Note: This role requires 50 travel in the US.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

A Day in the Life

  • Manage a sales cycle from lead generation qualification demonstration to deal close and account transition to the professional services team
  • Be able to clearly articulate the value proposition and competitive advantage of selecting Momentive Software
  • Perform detailed discovery meetings with key prospect staff
  • Conduct product demonstrations onsite or remote (with assistance from our sales engineering team) to prospective customers
  • Possess a strong understanding of Momentive Software products strengths and competitive landscape
  • Maintain current Territory and Opportunity planning documents
  • Achieve monthly quarterly and yearly sales quotas and KPIs set by management
  • Maintain accurate record keeping of all pertinent sales activities in Salesforce and Salesloft
  • Nurture relationship with industry consultants and inflluences
  • Participate in industry conferences and trade shows
  • Must be willing to travel as required

We are looking for someone who brings

  • 5 years outside enterprise technology solution sales
  • Nonprofit and/or association sales experience preferred
  • Degree in related field preferred
  • Passion for technology solution sales to deliver business process automation
  • Experience selling enterprise SaaS based solution
  • A proven sales trackrecord in attaining quota
  • Must be able to overcome objectives generate proposals based upon customer needs and close contracts
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Experience with valuebased selling and negotiating
  • Confident selling to B & C level employees & Board of Directors
  • Exceptional organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Ability to manage a large pipeline across the entire sales cycle
  • Must be motivated and goaloriented
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Detail oriented
  • Willingness to travel up to 50
