Eurex Repo is a leading provider for international financing in the secured money market business (repo and securities lending) in Europe. Its highly liquid marketplace covers the complete value chain from trading to clearing and settlement. Currently Eurex Repo is active in the following markets: GC Pooling Repo SecLend and eTriParty and HQLAx.
Field of activity
As a working student for the Fixed Income Funding & Financing (FIFF) Sales Team at Eurex you will have an excellent opportunity to explore capital market dynamics and to gain valuable practical experience in an innovative company. The FIFF Sales team is Eurexs face to the financial industry to promote current and future trading and clearing services and solutions across FI and Funding & Financing. Building strong relationships with our existing and new trading and clearing members their clients and associated industry bodies as well as understanding their needs and the impacts of developments in the market enables us to grow and expand our services. The aim being to increase the attractiveness of our portfolio and with the ultimate goal being to expand our role as the leading provider in Europe of exchange traded and central counterparty services.
Tasks/responsibilities
- You will help in researching tasks: data research and analysis
- You will preparedata reports for team and management reporting
- You will assist in generatingPowerPoint presentations
- You will participatein ongoing projects within the department and help in administrative and organizational functions
- You will support the day to day sales activities and client queries
- You will conduct competitor and market analysis in derivatives markets
Qualifications/required skills
- You are enrolled in an academic programme recognised by the state during their internship and must have completed at least the first year of their university studies.
- You are interested in Financial and Capital Markets (in funding & financing and/or derivatives markets).
- You have the ability to organise and communicate effectively.
- Thanks to your cooperative manner you quickly find your way into the team. Your affinity for numbers and very good analytical skills help you to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics.
- You have a competent handling of MS Office applications (especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint).
- You are proficient in written and spoken German and English.
