Lead SRE Engineer PlatformsBTs Platform Engineering team is responsible for building integrated scalable and robust enterprise journeys We are currently seeking an experienced Lead SRE Engineer with a proven track record in designing architecting and implementing robust and durable applications especially in the cloud and at scaleAbout the RoleAs a Lead SRE Engineer you will be a key member of the SRE squad within the Platform team whose mission is From idea to production ready in under twelve minutes You will design and implement scalable solutions that ensure the stability availability and security of the platforms environments while continuously improving processes and automating workflows Your role encompasses production stability incident management and automation ensuring all Applications APIs and Microservices are secure scalable and fault tolerantKey Responsibilities1 Production and Post Production Stability Ensure SLAs scalability and security of production environments for Applications APIs and Microservices Define and oversee on call rotations ensuring playbooks are maintained and reviewed Provide guidance during development to ensure systems are production ready and fault tolerant Streamline operational processes and automate routine tasks 2 Incident Management Proactively identify risks and prevent incidents Manage incident response through robust processes and runbooks Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures 3 Automation and Tooling Develop and maintain automated solutions for monitoring capacity planning and incident response Enhance CICD pipelines to support seamless deploymentsQualifications7 years of experience in software engineering or site reliability engineering Proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring technical teams 4 years of hands on programming experience in one of the following languages Typescript Java Nodejs Python 4 years of experience with AWS services and architecture Strong understanding of CICD practices and tools Experience with monitoring and logging tools Dynatrace experience is a significant plus Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure Strong communication and interpersonal skillsWhy Join UsOpportunity to work with cutting edge cloud and DevOps technologies A collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and growth Hands on exposure to scalable architectures and automation practices Support for professional development and certifications in AWS Kubernetes and other modern technologiesInterview ProcessThe interview process will be carried out in one 90 min stageA two part technical interview with a 45 minute pair programming exercise and a 45 minute cloud based scenario set of questions
