Job Description

Position Type: High School Government & Economics.Job Categories:Classroom Teacher > Social Studies: CertificationDescription:Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the Districts curriculum program and show written evidence of preparation as required.Salary: State Base Qualifications:Bachelor degree from an accredited university; valid Texas teaching certificate in History or Social Studies Composite; meet Texas Highly Qualified requirements; ability to instruct students and manage their behavior; strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills. A valid Texas CDL license is required.General Expectations:* Extensive and uptodate knowledge of content area* Ability to follow the High School TEKS* Proven ability to gather and utilize both formative and summative assessments to create individualized learning plans to ensure students success on State and Local assessments.* Excellent communication skills
