Job Description
We are currently seeking LPNs to join our team!
We have various shifts available
shifts are either 6am 2pm or 2pm 10pm
Hilton East is an assisted living facility offering a work environment that allows our LPNs to work at a manageable and sustainable work pace and cadence. The level of care is less acute and rigorous promoting a healthier work dynamic for our staff and patients. The Licensed Practical Nurses primary responsibilities are making sure that our residents are receiving proper care and overseeing the personal care staff on the floor during their shift. This involves making sure the HHAs are following the care plans set up by the residents physician or nurse. All employees are responsible for assisting residents with normal daily living activities.
Job duties:
- Timely and efficient documentation of any resident issues concerns and follow through.
- Assist with Inservice and education for all Personal Care staff.
- Insulin injections and BG Checks
- Maintaining compliancy at all times.
- Employee evaluations and skills assessments as needed.
- Any task requested by your Manager.
- Communicating with residents physicians and family members as needed
Supervisory Duties:
- Supervision and communication of HHAs.
- Attend all Supervisor and Managers meetings.
- Attend all HHA meetings
- Make sure aides sign for all care.
- Follow up on aide complaints.
- Must stay until appropriate coverage is in facility

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to perform physical activity that require moving ones whole body such as in climbing lifting balancing walking bending and pushing where the activities often also require considerable use of the arms and legs such as in the physical handling of materials.
- Employees must not have any weight restrictions to avoid injury.
Technology Requirements:
- Must have basic understanding of computers.
- Must have basic understanding of Microsoft Office Programs.
Compliance Requirements:
- Must have New York State Nursing License .
- Must have Valid NYS Drivers license
- Must have documentation of MMRs (Measles Mumps and Rubella showing an immune result.
- Must have current Physical (within 30 days of employment) .
- Must have current TB test with a negative result within 30 days of hire date.
