About Us:
DuraLine an Orbia Business & a global leader in the manufacturing industry is seeking a dynamicSenior Production Supervisorfor our Gainesville Texas site.
This AMAZING position you will lead and support a culture of safety standardize operations on all shifts changeover standardization/urgency focus on s management drive an operator based 5s culture improve accountability improve individualized coaching develop succession plan within the shifts foster quality lean and safety culture.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a culture of safety standardize operations on all shifts Changeover standardization/urgency focus on s management drive an operator based 5S culture improve accountability Improve individualized coaching Develop succession plan within the shifts foster quality lean and safety culture
- Direct supervision of daily operations such as staffing quality control and schedule adherence
- Lead by example to hit targets (in order of priority) in safety quality service cost and production. When goals are missed understand why and have suggestions for improvement
- Hold team accountable to following established procedures and conforming to conduct standards
- Be an enabler for team to drive process improvements. Ensure effective employee relations
- Mentor Lead Operators and production team
- Balance quality safety morale productivity and cost to achieve positive results in all areas
- Responsible for the effective training qualification proficiency and overall performance management of employees
- Build a team that is dedicated and committed to excellence with open communication where all team members have a voice
Qualifications:
- 58 years of supervisory experience in a lean manufacturing/production environment
- At least an Associates degree is required
- Experience overseeing the daily operations of your team including staffing quality control and schedule adherence
- Ability to meet KPIs: s reduction improve safety behaviors increase labor retention labor utilization improve product quality reduce downtime TRIR OSHA recordables etc.
- Proven track record of leading training and coaching direct reports
- Technical and mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills
- Excellent multitasking abilities with a focus on prioritization
- Resultsoriented with the ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) ERP experience SAP is a plus
What is in it for you
The compensation for this position will typically range from $74000$120000. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors including but not limited to jobrelated knowledge/skills experience geographical location and internal equity.
The compensation package may also include short and longterm incentive compensation.
