Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• AWS Service Integration & Development:
  • Design develop and deploy serverless and containerized applications using AWS Lambda EC2 and other compute services.
  • Utilize AWS services such as S3 RDS and API Gateway to build robust backend solutions.
  • Writing clean welllinted and maintainable code that follows industry best practices
  • Following best practices for code quality release versioning and deployment methodologies for a SaaS product

  • Develop and maintain infrastructureascode using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• DevOps & Continuous Integration:
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
  • Monitor application performance troubleshoot issues and optimize resource usage.
• Security & Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to AWS best practices for security compliance and data protection.
  • Implement proper logging monitoring and alerting using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
• Collaboration & Agile Practices:
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily standups sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with product managers architects and frontend developers to align technical solutions with business goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Expertise:
  • Proven experience in backend development using AWS services and cloudnative architectures.
  • Proficient with eventdriven architectures and messaging systems (e.g. SNS SQS).
  • Knowledge of additional AWS services such as Elastic Beanstalk ECS or EKS
  • Proficiency in programming language Python.
  • Experience with serverless frameworks and container orchestration (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with infrastructureascode tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Experience writing unit tests with Pytest or similar frameworks
• Development Practices:
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design microservices architecture and data modeling.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices to ensure smooth and automated deployments.
  • Solid knowledge of security best practices and compliance in cloud environments.
