Entering the South African market a new and dynamic brand from one of South Africas leading selling passenger vehicles! Our client requires a Brand & Marketing Manager at OEM level.
Purpose Of The Job:
The Brand & Marketing Manager who will work closely with the Brand Marketing and Sales team to ensure the daily effectiveness of the overall departments. The candidate will thus be a key member of the team in ensuring that key outputs are delivered effectively and efficiently.
To be successful in this role the candidate will be responsible for the full Brand Management function for South Africa. The candidate should be a creative and outofthebox thinker being able to successfully promote and market the entire brand.
Ultimately the candidate will ensure that their area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our clients business objectives and contributes to the companys success in the long run.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for the management of all the Brand and Marketing staff.
- Responsible for developing and implementing the annual brand strategies goals budgets executions etc.
- Responsible for formulating a Brand communication management system and associated standards.
- Management of media and influencer test drive programs and PRs.
- Responsible for the planning and of the major brand events and activities
- Overall Brand CI materials development and CI audit initiatives.
- Responsible for the planning and of all new product launches and evaluation of the launch effect.
- Responsible for market analysis marketcrisis evaluation public relations management and overall Brand impression within the Market.
- Work directly with Marketing and Sales Team to establish and execute various strategies to advance the Brand in SA.
- Ad hoc responsibilities and duties requested from senior management.
Requirements:- Matric
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (i.e. News Communication Advertising Marketing etc. is essential.
- A minimum of 5 7 years of management experience related to Brand Marketing and Communication in the Automotive industry preferably at OEM level
- Participated in Corporate Brand or Product Brand positioning / Creative and Communication projects.
- Excellent Media reporting skills.
- As the candidate will be responsible for the full Brand and Marketing Team experience in this part of the job function is ESSENTIAL
- Automotive OEM experience is essential.
