Job Overview
We are hiring a Production Engineer . As a Production Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing and improving the manufacturing process. This role requires a midlevel experience of 4 to 6 years in the automotive/manufacturing industry. The job location is Chakan Maharashtra India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience of Production Engineer in the automotive/manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of production processes equipment and quality standards.
- Proficient in using production management software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve production issues.
- Excellent teambuilding and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment.
- Strong technical and problemsolving skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and product quality.
- Optimize production lines to meet production targets.
- Analyze production data and propose improvements to optimize performance and reduce costs.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams including engineering supply chain and quality assurance.
- Develop and implement safety and quality standards.
- Train and mentor production staff to ensure adherence to manufacturing processes and standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production failures and implement corrective actions.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and advancements in production engineering.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain documentation related to production processes and procedures.
