Job Description
We are recruiting a Human Resources Director for a privately owned and highly successful company in the Lodi area. Our client offers a highly engaged hardworking and collaborative leadership team. This direct hire opportunity includes competitive benefits such as Medical Dental Vision and 401k with company match.
The Human Resources Director will be responsible for leading a team of 3 direct reports and overseeing employee relations employee development safety Payroll benefits and workers compensation. Fully onsite with occasional travel to field operations (within 40 minute drive). Salary: $135000$155000 DOE an average of 15 annual bonus and car allowance.

The ideal candidate will have managed an HR department and has strong employee relations benefits administration LOA administration and payroll experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Manage the recruitment and selection process including sourcing screening interviewing and onboarding
- Oversee employee relations including managing conflicts conducting investigations and resolving grievances
- Administer compensation and benefits programs including payroll processing
- Develop and implement performance management systems to enhance employee productivity and engagement
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to improve employee skills and knowledge
- Ensure compliance with all labor regulations and keep abreast of changes in employment law
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Handle disciplinary actions and terminations when necessary
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field; Masters degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management roles
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Demonstrated leadership and decisionmaking abilities
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software applications
- HR certification (e.g. SHRMCP PHR) preferred
