Job Description
Find your purpose as a Certified Medical Assistant at CentraCare Northway Clinic. This clinic features Integrated Behavioral Health Services which gives patient the opportunity to access these services in a family practice setting.The CMA will provide patient focused customer service to allindividuals oversee and coordinate preventative care services and community resources for patients and their families to achieve goodhealth help patients achieve optimal health by planning patients care using evidenced based guidelines for care (i.e. Hgb A1C or immunizations as appropriate) or gathering information pertinent to the patients care from othersources and assist in assuring the daytoday activities of the clinic are completed timely and efficiently which includes roomingpatients.
Schedule:
- Full Time 72 hours every 2 weeks
- 8am5pm TuesdayFriday
- No evenings weekends or holidays
Pay and Benefits:
- Starting pay $20.41 per hour.
- Pay range $20.20 to $30.30 depending on years of experience.

Certified Medical Assistant:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following:
- Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date.
- American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
- National Association for Health Professionals Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
- Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
Additional Requirements:
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
- Ability to understand patients medical records physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.
