POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install and configure Oracle databases
• Manage database backup and recovery processes
• Monitor database performance and resolve bottlenecks
• Implement and enforce database security measures
• Create and maintain database schemas and structures
• Support database migrations and upgrades

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
• Expertise in Oracle database tools (e.g. RMAN OEM)
• Strong knowledge of performance tuning
• Experience with database replication technologies
• Familiarity with data backup and disaster recovery strategies
• Ability to write and debug database scripts

DESIRED SKILLS

• Experience with Oracle RAC and Data Guard
• Knowledge of cloud database platforms (e.g. AWS RDS Oracle Cloud)
• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g. Ansible Terraform)
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python Bash)
• Experience with database monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds)
