Job Description
We are an inland marine company that is looking for experienced deckhands to help us with our daily operations. Carline is a familyowned towing operator located in Geismar LA operating between New Orleans and Baton Rouge on the Mississippi River. As a Deckhand you willbe responsible for a variety of duties including but not limited to:
Assisting with securing of barges and vessels
Operating and maintaining vessel equipment
Conducting routine maintenance and housekeeping of thevessel
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
Assisting with the transport of barges along the Mississippi River.
Requirements
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work long hours and in adverse weatherconditions if needed
Reliable transportation to and fromwork
