Job Description
- Lead facility planning projects from conceptualization through completion ensuring adherence to DoD standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to develop space optimization and occupancy plans.
- Oversee and manage the development of facility layouts ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
- Review building designs and specifications for adherence to building codes regulations and industry standards to ensure projects meet all safety quality and compliance standards.
- Work closely with architects engineers and other project stakeholders to drive the successful delivery of planning and design phases.
- Manage project budgets timelines and resources to ensure successful project .
- Provide strategic guidance on space planning and facility utilization to improve overall operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Architecture Engineering Urban Planning or any Facilities Management discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in DoD facilities planning design construction or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in interpreting and implementing building codes regulations and industry standards.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and overseeing facilities planning projects from inception to delivery.
- Proficiency in space optimization occupancy planning and facility layout design.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secretlevel security clearance; Must be a U.S. citizen as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations
Salary Description
$120000 $155000 a year
