We are seeking an enthusiastic Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry to work fulltime hours per week for our clients inpatient team based in Bristol. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a shortterm contract.
What will your responsibilities be
The role requires a strong presence on the ward participation in daily handover meetings and involvement in ward rounds care program approach meetings and unit governance meetings. Responsibilities include assessing new referrals to the unit providing evidence at tribunals and preparing reports. The position also involves duties related to two wards in a male inpatient neuropsychology setting with a total of 16 patients. Additionally there is an opportunity for the successful candidate to engage in outpatient work within the community mental health service. The medical team includes training grade doctors (CT and ST).
