Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dispensing Optician / Practice Manager to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role combines clinical expertise in dispensing optics with managerial responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of our practice.
Key Responsibilities
Dispensing Optician Duties:
- Provide personalised dispensing services assisting patients in selecting appropriate eyewear that meets their visual and aesthetic needs.
- Conduct fittings adjustments and repairs of spectacles to ensure optimal comfort and vision correction.
- Educate patients on lens options frame styles and proper eyewear maintenance.
Practice Manager Duties:
- Oversee daily operations ensuring the practice runs efficiently and maintains high standards of patient care.
- Manage staff schedules training and development to foster a collaborative and skilled team.
- Handle administrative tasks including inventory management budgeting and compliance with industry regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and practice growth.
