Job Description
PetroApp a leading company in the automotive technology sector is looking for a skilled and strategic Financial Data Analyst Section Head to join our dynamic finance team. As the Financial Data Analyst Section Head you will be responsible for overseeing the financial data analysis team guiding strategic initiatives and enhancing financial data intelligence to support decisionmaking at all levels within the organization.
In this leadership role you will manage financial analysis functions ensure data integrity and implement best practices for data management. You will work closely with senior management to drive financial performance and optimize business strategies through detailed analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of financial data analysts to provide insights and reports that support decisionmaking processes.
- Oversee the production of regular financial reports dashboards and management presentations to define financial performance and strategic initiatives.
- Implement and manage best practices in data governance data quality and financial analysis methodologies.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify key metrics and analytics that drive business performance.
- Develop financial models and scenarios to assess business opportunities risks and future financial impacts.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends in financial analysis and data analytics and leverage emerging technologies to enhance datadriven decisionmaking.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Data Science or a related field; MBA or Masters degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial analysis with at least 23 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling data analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools/software (e.g. Excel SQL Tableau or Power BI).
- Indepth understanding of financial statements forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex data insights to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience in the technology or SAAS is a plus.
